The design of the new BSA Gold Star is a symphony of classic and modern elements, a tribute to the brand’s storied past and a celebration of its bright future. The bike’s styling, with its sleek lines and low-slung saddle, evokes a bygone era of motorcycle racing, while modern engineering and materials ensure that the design is as relevant and contemporary as ever.
The bike’s tank, emblazoned with the iconic BSA logo, stands as a proud testament to the brand’s legacy, while the use of chrome and wire-spoke wheels adds a touch of retro elegance. The exhaust system, while styled in a classic fashion, incorporates modern materials and technology, ensuring that the bike meets the highest emissions standards without sacrificing performance.
The Gold Star’s design is inspired by the original model. The bike’s front suspension comes in the form of 41mm telescopic forks, while the rear is equipped with a traditional swingarm and twin shock absorbers with a 5-step preload adjustment.
The Gold Star rolls on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels that are adorned with vintage tread pattern Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres, giving the bike an unmistakable retro feel. Stopping power is provided by Brembo brakes, with a single 320mm disc at the front and 255mm disc at the rear, complete with Continental dual channel ABS.
